Book Trailers Due June 8th- After school workshops 5/17, 2/24, 5/31

PD Racer Sailboat Project We have a goal this spring- Each class in the WMLA is building their own PD racer sailboat.  These are small boats, made from plywood.  On June 19th we plan to race the boats at Scargo Lake in Dennis.  The students have been hard at work writing letters to local businesses asking for donations.    All proceeds go directly to the students and will fund the supplies needed to build the boats and host the regatta.  More pictures to follow as work begins... It floats! We tested the sample PD racer in the pond.  It sits well in the water and does not leak.  We are excited to finish and test with a sail.  The plan is to make the top removable, so the students can see inside.
